Flood Advisory issued May 20 at 1:11AM CDT until May 20 at 5:15AM CDT by NWS Norman OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, northern, and northwest Oklahoma, including the following counties, in central Oklahoma, Payne. In northern Oklahoma, Garfield, Grant, Kay and Noble. In northwest Oklahoma, Alfalfa and Major. * WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 111 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Enid, Stillwater, Perry, Pond Creek, Garber, Morrison, Glencoe, Covington, Billings, Lamont, Red Rock, Kremlin, Goltry, Breckenridge, Marland, Nash, Hunter, Fairmont, Hillsdale and Carrier. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
