Flood Watch issued May 30 at 10:47PM CDT until May 31 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be possible. * WHERE...Bosque, Eastland, Ellis, Erath, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Limestone, McLennan, Navarro, Somervell, Anderson, Henderson, Leon, and Robertson Counties. * WHEN...Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with additional heavy rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Recent rainfall has resulted in near saturated soils that are resistant to runoff and proper drainage. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 5 inches may result in flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

McLennan County in central Texas... * Until 500 AM CDT. * At 240 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Waco, Gatesville, Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Hillsboro, Woodway, Lacy-Lakeview, McGregor, West, Mart, Beverly Hills, Lorena, Bruceville-Eddy, Hubbard, Moody, Laguna Park, Valley Mills, Riesel and Crawford.
