The risk of Flash Flooding is high and we urge you to take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and that of your loves ones. Stay alert and updated. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...For All Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Additionally, due to soil saturation, even a slight heavy rainfall has the potential to produce landslides and mudslides on steep terrains. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Based on the latest guidance, the most likely time period for the heaviest rainfall activity will remain during the afternoon, especially along the mountains and north of the Cordillera Central. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
