Red Flag Warning issued June 16 at 9:08PM MST until June 17 at 8:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ MST Sun Jun 16 2024/ ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MST /NOON MDT/ TO 8 PM MST /9 PM MDT/ MONDAY FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN ARIZONA... * AFFECTED AREA...Locations near Buffalo Pass, Chinle, Dilkon, Doney Park, Eagar-Springerville, Flagstaff, Forest Lakes, Fredonia, Ganado, Grand Canyon, Heber-Overgaard, Holbrook, Jacob Lake, Kayenta, Kykotsmovi, North Rim, Page, Saint Johns, Shonto, Snowflake-Taylor, Tuba City, Valle, Williams, Window Rock and Winslow. This includes portions of the Apache- Sitgreaves National Forest, Coconino National Forest, Kaibab National Forest, Prescott National Forest and Tonto National Forest. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 5 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that start will have the potential to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first responders can contain them.
