In north central Illinois, De Kalb and La Salle. In northeast Illinois, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall and Will. * WHEN...Until 500 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 100 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 2 inches of rain has already fallen in portions of the area. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over portions of the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
