In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Nemaha and Pottawatomie. * WHEN...Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Tornado Warning issued April 27 at 3:29PM CDT until April 27 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Topeka KS At 329 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Hiawatha, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Robinson and Reserve around 335 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Iowa Reservation of Kansas and Nebraska and Sac and Fox Nation Reservation. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
