Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Flood Advisory issued June 17 at 5:15AM EDT until June 17 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Grand Rapids MI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Michigan, including the following counties, Calhoun and Jackson. * WHEN...Until noon EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 510 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Both radar estimates and local automated rain gauges indicate that 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen from Sunday evening into the early morning hours morning hours of Monday. Additional rainfall can be expected through daybreak. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
