In north central New Mexico, East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Moderate to occasional heavy downpours from showers and storms through Thursday afternoon will result in rainfall amounts between 0.25"-0.5" with spotty totals as high as 1". This type of rainfall will cause flash flooding on the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon and Mcbride burn areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
