In east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Johnston. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin, Jefferson, Murray and Stephens. In southwest Oklahoma, Caddo. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected this evening and tonight. Special Weather Statement issued June 4 at 4:41AM CDT by NWS Norman OK At 440 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Kent to near Blue to near Kingston. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Durant, Madill, Tishomingo, Denison, Kingston, Colbert, Caddo, Bokchito, Achille, Bennington, Silo, Milburn, Tushka, Caney, Kenefic, Kemp, Mead, Armstrong, Hendrix, and Cartwright. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
